EconBiz is a joint project of the German National Library of Economics (ZBW) and the University and City Library of Cologne (USB Köln). During the start-up phase the project was supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG). EconBiz is continuously improved through co-operation with other institutions and with the active support of the EconBiz Advisory Board. The aim is to establish a central gateway for a broad range of economic information and to give direct access to full text documents.


In the online catalogue ECONIS you will find 4.4 million title records for printed and electronic economics literature from all over the world. Around 90,000 new entries are added every year. ECONIS contains books and journals from the fields of economics, business studies and business practice. In addition, ECONIS lists articles from journals or compilations. A distinguishing feature of the database is the high proportion of literature which is not available through the book trade, e.g. working and discussion papers, dissertations and statistics.


RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) is a collaborative effort of hundreds of volunteers in 75 countries to enhance the dissemination of research in Economics and related sciences. The heart of the project is a decentralized bibliographic database of working papers, journal articles, books, books chapters and software components, all maintained by volunteers.


Research Bible, which is providing a global and local service for researcher, is a free academic resource publishing system that is flexible, easy to use.  It is a multiply indexed research resources website and open access with high standard indexing database.
